Brown Street Market is an artisan style neighborhood grocery store located in Central El Paso offering zero waste products and locally sourced produce while preserving the Latin heritage of west Texas.
Brown Street Market was looking for a brand refresh to align their values and messaging with their ideal audience made up of local Mexican American consumers, zero-waste shoppers, and health advocates.
We created Brown Street Market’s branding pieces as part of a design week in order to get their essential branding elements ready to go within a week. We took a holistic approach in creating their brand guidelines, tagline, and visual identity pieces pulling traditional elements from their Hispanic culture while at the same time infusing the local Texan flavor of El Paso.
We were able to create unique brand identity pieces and guidelines that aligned with Brown Street Market’s values of supporting the small business community, taking care of the environment, and highlighting the Mexican culture of El Paso. With their new brand direction, they are able to better serve not only their customers but also their community of local artisans, producers, and growers.
